Bee Pennington is a holistic health coach, personal trainer, and author, whose gluten free and health journey began in 2009 with her diagnosis of Coeliac Disease. Her diagnosis was a catalyst for change and Bee began to really understand the importance of her own health. This saw Bee undertake studies in the areas of clinical nutrition, holistic health coaching and personal training. For the last few years Bee has been seeing her own Health Coaching clients and working closely with them to navigate their own health obstacles.
In her personal intersection of passion, you’ll find that nurturing and health are the two most important aspects of Bee’s personality that drive her to support and be the best coach and mentor to her clients. It is this nurturing and support oriented nature that makes her a perfect complement to the functional medicine guidance of Jabe.
The author of Happy Gluten Free Kids, Bee has worked in the gluten free space for seven years with the view to inspire and educate those living gluten free. In recent years Bee has moved towards a whole food, clean living, and meditative approach to health.
Bee strongly believes in practicing what she preaches, and being the example. She believes there has never been a more significant time to learn how to tune in to your own body’s rhythm and maximise your personal wellness.
What is health coaching?
The nature of health coaching (or wellness coaching) is a process that facilitates healthy, sustainable behavior change by challenging a client to develop personal awareness around decision-making and habitual behaviours, identify their values, and transform their goals into action. Our health coach, Bee Pennington has a background in clinical nutrition with particular interests in gluten free living, movement and holistic health. Bee works with the principals of whole body wellness and integrating gradual, positive change to have an influence on the whole body. A natural nurturer, Bee finds it easy and rewarding to encourage and facilitate change with her clients.
Bee’s ability to help patient’s realise their goals by following through on the treatment plan formulated with Jabe, makes her an extremely valuable asset to the practice.
